The second book in my sexy Greentree Sisters trilogy, RULES OF PASSION, should be in bookstores from September 26^th onwards. (Although it always varies from store to store.) RULES OF PASSION follows LESSONS IN SEDUCTION, which was released in March.

 

Marietta Greentree wants to live her own life and will not be tied down by the rules of Victorian society. As someone whose reputation is already ruined she doesn’t expect to make a good marriage, so what has she got to lose?  She decides she will be a courtesan, like her mother.  Except her mother, Aphrodite, doesn’t believe Marietta is at all suited to the life and sets out to show her daughter where her real happiness lies. 

 

Max Valland, disgraced Duke’s son, has enough problems, but somehow Marietta has decided that only he will do when it comes to practicing her skills as a courtesan.  And although he knows it isn’t at all the gentlemanly thing, he finds himself so attracted to her that he just can’t say “no”.

 

Good News!  Max won a K.I.S.S. Award from Romantic Times!

 

Just to update you, my Paranormal series with Avon begins in August 2006, and I have been working hard on the first three books.  This is something very different for me—the books are contemporary with some time travel, and lots of fantasy and chills thrown in.  Of course that doesn’t mean I’ll stop writing my Victorian historicals!

 

For those of you who live in Australia, the Australian edition of RULES OF PASSION will be on sale in bookstores in December.  For US readers my Harlequin Regency, THE DECADENT COUNTESS, written under the name DEBORAH MILES, is coming out in October 2006.
